Crispers Restaurants was originally founded on the concept of introducing a new idea through which a restaurant model could be created that addresses the fundamental problems facing most restaurant models in most surrounding markets. Awareness of the concept of return on investment (ROI), meaning the profit return for the investments made to equip and operate the restaurant. Most large restaurant chains incur significant costs, both investment and operational, in addition to the intense competition they face in the market. Consequently, they do not—in most cases—achieve the appropriate financial return compared to other alternative investment opportunities.

An innovative operating model for low-cost, high-efficiency restaurants

Based on our deep understanding of the challenges facing traditional restaurant models in most markets, we have created a new and different operating model, based on strategic principles that aim to achieve the difficult equation between operational efficiency and investment feasibility. This model includes the following:

  • A low-investment restaurant model, allowing easy entry into the market and reducing financial risks.

  • Targeting low-competition areas (B-/C), which positively impacts rental values.

  • High speed in setting up and operating the project, which shortens the time required to launch and generate revenue.
  • A limited and focused menu based on simple and limited raw materials, which facilitates quality control and reduces waste.
  • Highly practical and easily replicable operation, which facilitates replication of the model in multiple locations.
  • A limited workforce and optimal utilization of human resources by maximizing worker productivity.
  • Complete reliance on takeaway and delivery services, which represent approximately 85% of fast food restaurant sales, achieves:
  1. Reduce investment and operating costs by eliminating dining rooms and their equipment.
  2. Minimize operational issues and improve customer experience through simplicity and speed.
  • Provide high-quality products at lower-than-market prices, resulting in reduced overhead costs.

Building on the fundamental principles upon which the idea of establishing and operating Crispers restaurants was founded, a successful experiment was launched, representing the opening of four branches within a period of no more than eight months, two of which were franchised, and the other two branches were opened through the company’s direct investments.

To further strengthen the brand’s legal identity, “Crispers” has been officially registered with the Trademark Protection Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Trade, ensuring the brand name is protected from any infringement or illegal use by third parties.
