Crispers Restaurants was originally founded on the concept of introducing a new idea through which a restaurant model could be created that addresses the fundamental problems facing most restaurant models in most surrounding markets. Awareness of the concept of return on investment (ROI), meaning the profit return for the investments made to equip and operate the restaurant. Most large restaurant chains incur significant costs, both investment and operational, in addition to the intense competition they face in the market. Consequently, they do not—in most cases—achieve the appropriate financial return compared to other alternative investment opportunities.
Based on our deep understanding of the challenges facing traditional restaurant models in most markets, we have created a new and different operating model, based on strategic principles that aim to achieve the difficult equation between operational efficiency and investment feasibility. Building on the fundamental principles upon which the idea of establishing and operating Crispers restaurants was founded, a successful experiment was launched, representing the opening of four branches within a period of no more than eight months, two of which were franchised, and the other two branches were opened through the company’s direct investments.
To further strengthen the brand’s legal identity, “Crispers” has been officially registered with the Trademark Protection Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Trade, ensuring the brand name is protected from any infringement or illegal use by third parties.
